Shipping Policy Details

If there are courier delays with your order, or disputed delivery, we will not be refunding or sending another item out without there being an investigation made by the courier company FIRST. This can take several weeks (even up to 12 weeks) and only if the courier company reimburses us will we reimburse the customer. We will only reimburse the amount we receive from the courier company, not more.

Occasionally, UPS may deliver to a local Access Point if delivery was attempted and the recipient was unavailable. Any disputes must be addressed with the courier. If a parcel is not collected and is returned to us, Alara Modesty will not refund any shipping fees—only the item value.Once the order is shipped, the courier is responsible for delivering the item to you and we cannot control their delivery time.

The same applies to customs delays with international deliveries – we cannot control your country’s customs and how long they take to release your item.

The courier will only deliver to the address specified and will not leave the item with a neighbour.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the correct address is entered on the order. Alara Modesty will take no responsibility if an incorrect address has been entered and the buyer does not receive the item.

Packages to Europe and other countries

Due to Brexit rules, shipments to Europe may incur customs fees. It is the customer's responsibility to clear these. If a parcel is returned back to us due to unpaid fees, Alara Modesty will deduct any return freight charges before issuing an item value refund.

International Packages

Please check with your country if customs/duty fees will be charged. Alara Modesty will not be

responsible for any customs/duty fees and it is the customer's responsibility to clear these.

Order processing time (Please read updated arrangements at the top)

All items ordered are dispatched within 1–2 working days of cleared payment. Please allow extra time for busy seasonal periods such as Ramadan and Eid, and during national holidays such as Easter, Christmas and bank holidays.

Lost/Delayed Parcels

Alara Modesty cannot take responsibility for delays that occur with courier services. Additionally, once the parcel has been dispatched, it becomes the courier’s responsibility to deliver it. If your parcel does not reach you, you must submit claim forms directly with the courier company to start an investigation.
